We accept that it is not always appropriate to charge an up-front retainer fee, and, therefore, depending on particular recruitment requirements, we can offer search on a non-retained basis using search methodology to access candidates.

By taking this approach, we enable search to become a primary recruitment tool rather than something to be reserved only for unusual practice areas or very high level appointments.

This less formal approach is particularly useful for non-Partner hiring (Non-retained search: Associates) and can also, on occasion, be appropriate for Partner level recruitment.

This means that we are able to approach both Partner and Associate recruitment from a search perspective in order to find the best available people and, in many cases, to find people who are not actively looking for a move through traditional routes.
